MAIS covers a student's whole time at school and connects it to the systems that the state and your finance office require. We have developed it since 2004 and more than 60,000 people use it today.

School leadership
One system instead of spreadsheets and silos. A real-time overview of applicants and students. A vendor that handles legislative changes for you.
IT department
The system runs on your servers and student data stays with you. It uses PostgreSQL as its database, so you pay no database licenses. Add 20+ integrations and single sign-on through LDAP and OAuth2.
Study department
Course enrollment, timetables, state exams and graduation without retyping. Reports to CRŠ (Central Register of Students) and CRZP (Central Register of Theses) go out from the system, not from Excel.
One core. Nine modules.
A school starts with what it needs most and adds further modules without a new migration. User permissions control access to every screen, so everyone sees only what they need for their work.
Student
Pre-enrollment and electronic enrollment in courses and timetable, exam dates, grades, seminar papers and theses including document submission, requests, housing, scholarships, payments and fees, surveys.
Teacher
Study programs and curricula, courses, timetables, state exams, grading and dates, thesis topics and records, surveys and statistical outputs.
Study staff
Admissions and applicants, management of students and requests, credit-based studies, scholarships, funding, graduate documents, exports to CRŠ and CVTI, housing and anonymization of personal data under GDPR.
Administrator
Users and roles, code lists, academic years and terms, enrollment rounds, configuration of functions and notifications, print templates, announcements and website content.
E-application
Electronic submission and printing of the application, overview of submitted applications, enrollment fee, housing request and reservation, and anonymous lookup of admission results.
Discussion
Discussion on a course, study program or thesis topic. Comments and suggestions in one place, with no meetings to organize.
Public portal
No login needed: study programs and curricula, course information sheets, departments, rooms, staff, timetables and documents to download.
E-mobility
Student mobility, such as study stays abroad, handled in the same place as the rest of their studies.
ECTS
The credit system under the European ECTS standard, so studies are comparable with universities abroad.
What MAIS needs to run
Built on proven open-source technologies. No license fees for the database or the application server.

MAIS Student
The most common things from the student MAIS on your phone: personal profile, overview, news, grade book, timetable, exam dates and exam sign-up. The app is free.
A premium account for one year adds messages between students and teachers, an overview of tuition and housing payments, notifications (new enrollment round, exam date, grade, new message) and a "watchdog": when a spot opens on a full exam date, the app lets the student know or signs them up right away.
